Text me when you pull up
Park right out front of The Modern Salon Studios at 8000 E Quincy Ave. The front door stays locked, so text me from your car when you get here and I’ll come let you in.
Studio policies
A few little things to keep the studio calm and your appointment easy.
The short version: come solo, show up on time, give me 24 hours if plans change, and ask if anything here is unclear.
Solo appointments
Come solo, please
It’s a small, quiet room, and there’s really only space for the two of us. Please leave extra guests and kids at home.
Arrival time
On time is on time, babe
If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled and charged as a late cancellation. Text me if you’re running behind. I’d always rather know.
Cancellations
Give 24 hours’ notice
Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice and you may be charged 75% of the service. No-shows are charged 100%. That time was held for you, and it’s usually too late to fill it.
Photos & video
Photos are always your call
I love showing off my work, so I may ask to take a few photos or a video for social media and my portfolio. If that’s not your thing, just say so. Zero pressure, and it changes nothing about your appointment.
Appointment prep
Come ready for your service
Two things every time: skip the caffeine beforehand, and come with clean lashes (no mascara, no eye makeup). Anything else specific to your service shows up in Square when you book. Not sure what applies to you? Text or email me and I’ll tell you.
Card on file
A card is required to book
Square needs a credit or debit card to hold your spot, and it may be charged under the cancellation and no-show policy above. Your card details are collected and protected by Square, not by me.
