The short version: everything I offer is a cosmetic service, results are individual, and I need to know what’s going on with your health to keep you safe.
Lashes, facials, peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, brows, and waxing are cosmetic treatments. They are not medical care. Nothing I do diagnoses or treats a medical condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If something on your skin is worrying you, please see a doctor or a dermatologist. I’m glad to work alongside them, but I can’t stand in for them.
Results vary, genuinely. Your skin, your natural lashes, your health, your hormones, your medications, and how consistent you are at home all change the outcome. Photos of my work show what happened for that person on that day. I won’t promise you the same, and I’d be skeptical of anyone in this industry who does.
Some services aren’t right for some people. Things that can make a treatment unsafe, or change how your skin responds, include:
- Retinoids, recent Accutane, or other prescription skincare
- Blood thinners and certain other medications
- Active infections, cold sores, open or broken skin
- Some skin conditions, allergies, or a past reaction to a product or service
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Recent sun exposure, tanning, waxing, or another recent treatment
Please tell me about anything on that list before we start, and let me know if it changes between appointments. I may modify or decline a service if I don’t think it’s safe for you that day. I’d rather have an awkward conversation than hurt your skin.
Where a service needs a patch test or specific prep, I’ll tell you in advance. Skipping it changes the risk, and I may need to reschedule you.
